Pecha Kucha Night
Hoochie whatcha? This one's a bit different. ERB will be doing the show and tell thing. Twenty images, twenty seconds, twenty band members, or a least somewhere around twenty, we never really know how big or small the band is until the show starts...This is the second anniversary for Providence Pecha Kucha night and we're pretty gosh darn excited to be a part of it. The legendary Rebirth Brass Band is coming to Providence and ERB are going to warm up the stage, rebirth you see, doesn't like a cold stage. Come on out to The Spot for one helluva night of music, and make sure your dancing shoes are on!The Providence Phoenix gave a great plug for the show! Can't wait to see you all there.
HonkTx! - Cheer Up Charlie’s
There's a new Honk! in town, that town being Austin, Texas, and the Extraordinary Rendition Band is gonna be there. The folks at Honk!Tx are doing an amazing thing birthing another great Honk! Come on down with us, or if you're already in the southwesterly region of the country come on by.The festival will start Friday night and go until Sunday evening. Street bands from all over the country are gonna be there.Checkout the Honk!Tx website to learn more about who all else will be there and what you can do to make it happen.
Rum Launch Party
There’s a new rum in town and a party to welcome it. Yes of course pirates will be there, and so will ERB. Come on down to The Spot on Tuesday January 11th, we’ll be blasting in around 10pm.
Cinco de Mayo with Highlander Charter School
The ERB will be taking part in the festivities at a benefit for the Highlander Charter School at the Providence Biltmore celebrating Cinco de Mayo. Jump in on the auction, enjoy the food, or just dance around with us. Tickets at the door. $50 per person, $200 for patrons. Help send the ERB to Austin for HONK!TX to represent our hometown, Providence!Join the ERB, a raucous street band from Providence, for a rip-roarin’ time at the Salon! Look out partners, the Extraordinary Rendition Band is going down…to Austin, TX that is, for the first ever HONK!TX.In order to raise some funds to help our 20+ members shake their red, white, and shiny Providence pride all over the Austin streets, we are holding a cowboy, and girl, themed fundraiser party at the brand new Salon. That’s right folks not only will you hear performances by the ERB, but you will also enjoy cowboy karaoke, line dancing, tasty baked goods, human bull rides (but remember you’ve got to rope ‘em before you can ride ‘em) and more! So much more in fact!
