GMDVP Winter Plunge
ERB will be shore side at the Gay Men's Domestic Violence Project 7th Annual Winter Plunge!On Sunday, February 20th a crowd of diverse individuals will face freezing temperatures and plunge into the icy cold waters of Boston Harbor for a great cause; to raise funds for GMDVP and to raise awareness of the reality of domestic violence in the gay, bisexual and transgender (GBT) communities.Continuing with tradition, most plungers will dress in fun costumes, ranging from drag queens to penguins to Elvis Presley. PCA Grand Opening Party
Providence Community Acupuncture is having a party to celebrate the grand opening of their new space. We are gonna be tooting our horns to welcome them on Friday, February 18th from 3 to 6 p.m. and you're invited!Bring a friend and come enjoy free acupuncture, live music, food, fun, and community building at the new location.They'll be kicking off a month long food drive for the RI Community Food Bank, and the week following the party they will be donating 5% of thier proceeds to RICFB as well. There will be a volunteer from RICFB at the party if you want to learn more about the great work they do.
New Years Eve
The Extraordinary Rendition Band will be ringing in the new year in two states!We start the party off early in New Bedford, Ma at the City Celebrates festival, ERB will be wandering the streets downtown from 6:30pm -7:30pm and kicking off the fireworks at Custom House Square at 8:30pm!Then it's on to Bright Night in our hometown where will be carousing in the streets of downtown Providence for the rest of the year.
Pride Parade Award
ERB won an award!
The President's Award is the recognition by the organization president to a group or float for their outstanding contribution to Pride Parade. It also reflects the one of the crowd favorites in the event.
